Pankreoflat, 50 Tablets

It is a medicine that promotes the absorption of food while acting on gas, facilitating its elimination and relieving discomfort.

Its mechanism acts on carbohydrates, fats and proteins to facilitate digestion while promoting the absorption of food. It is therefore indicated for the relief of digestive problems in which flatulence, aerophagia, stomach heaviness or slow digestion associated with insufficient pancreatic enzymes, which facilitate digestion while favouring the absorption of food.

Designed to alleviate the symptoms of digestive problems in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

Take 1 to 2 tablets a day with each main meal, adjusting the dose to the severity of the symptoms and the fat content of the diet.

Do not take Pankreoflat

• If you are under 12 years of age.

• In case of allergy or hypersensitivity to dimethicone, pancreatin of porcine origin, cow's milk protein or any of the other components present in this medicine.

• In case of acute pancreatitis.

Pankreoflat may cause side effects, as with all medicines. This does not mean that everyone will suffer from them. These can be:

- Very common: abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea.

- Rare: constipation.

- Very rare: hyperuricaemia, hyperuricosuria, weight loss, bloating, dyspepsia, intestinal obstruction, perianal irritation, colon stricture, skin problems (itching, hives or rash), oedema.

- Unknown frequency: allergic reactions, anaphylactic reactions, angioedema, ulceration of the mouth.

Each film-coated tablet of Pankreoflat contains 80 mg dimethicone and pancreatin in an amount equivalent to 6,000 U Ph. Eur. of amylase, 6,000 U Ph. Eur. of lipase and 400 U Ph. Eur. of protease. The remaining excipients are: skimmed milk powder containing lactose in its composition, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (E464), gum arabicbiga (E414), parahidroxibenzoato de metilo (E218), parahidroxibenzoato de propilo (E216), ácido sórbico (E200), sacarosa, hidroxipropilcelulosa (E463), estearato de magnesio, copolípolyvinylpyrrolidone/polyvinyl acetate copolymer, shellac (E904), acetylated monoglycerides, silicon oxide (E55), silicon oxide (E55), silicon dioxide (E55), silicon dioxide (E55), silicon dioxide (E55).E551, talc (E553b), povidone (E1201), polyethylene glycol (E1521), carmellose sodium (E466), titanium dioxide (E171) and carnauba wax.

Pankreoflat 50 mg 50 tablets is a medicine formulated with a combination of pancreatic enzymes that facilitate digestion, especially in patients with enzyme deficiency, by promoting the elimination of gas.

The tablets are white and are swallowed directly, without chewing. The recommended dosage is 1 or 2 tablets with each main meal, depending on the fat content of the menu.
