PEPCID

What is Pepcid® and what does it do?

Pepcid® is a famotidine medicine formulated to relieve and treat both heartburn and acidity problems in people over 16 years of age.

How does it work?

Thanks to famotidine, the active ingredient in this product, which acts on the acid-producing cells in the stomach to reduce their production.

Who can use it?

This medicine is recommended for use in adults and adolescents aged 16 years and older.

How long does Pepcid® take to work?

The healing time for stomach ulcers is between 4 and 8 weeks, depending on the severity of the ulcer. Although they usually heal within a month of treatment with famotidine, they can take up to 2 months.

How is it used?
