Indicated for the local symptomatic relief of occasional constipation in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
Contains 4 lozenges.
It is a medicine for rectal use with a laxative action thanks to sodium citrate, an active ingredient responsible for retaining liquids in the intestine, increasing the volume of water in the stool, and sodium lauryl sulphoacetate, which has moisturising properties. It acts against constipation.
It comes in a pack containing 4 canulets of 5 ml each.
These constipation tablets are intended for use by adults and adolescents over 12 years of age seeking relief from the symptoms of occasional constipation.
Apply these suppositories to the rectum 1 cannula per day. Once used, suppress bowel movements for as long as possible to allow the medicine to work properly and remove constipation.
This treatment should not be used for more than 6 days at a time.
Do not use Micralax:
Micralax cannulae may cause side effects, as with all medicines. This does not mean that everyone will experience side effects.
In this case, although very rare, the following have been observed: allergic reactions, abdominal pain, diarrhoeal stools, discomfort in the anus and rectum.
Each cannula contains 450 mg sodium citrate and 45 mg lauryl sulphoacetate as the main active ingredients. The other excipients are: Sorbitol (E-420), Glycerol (E-422), Sorbic acid (E-200) and Purified water.
Micralax is an osmotic laxative, as it contains a wetting agent that increases the volume of the stool to facilitate its evacuation and relieve occasional constipation.
It comes in cannulae format for correct rectal administration.
