It is a medicine indicated for the treatment and relief of symptoms associated with heartburn and sour stomach.
It comes in a pack of 40 tablets.
Suitable for use in adults and children from 12 years of age.
Take 1-2 tablets a day depending on the intensity of the symptoms, 1 or 2 hours after the main meals.
Do not use Magion:
In children under 12 years of age.
In cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients, organic obstruction of the digestive tract, abdominal pain of unknown origin, severe renal insufficiency, uremia or hypophosphataemia, hypermagnesaemia, renal or hepatic insufficiency.
If administered concomitantly with other medicinal products such as tetracyclines, digoxin, benzodiazepines, oral anticoagulants (dicoumarol, acenocoumarol, warfarin), indomethacin, cimetidine, chenoic acids and ursodilators.If you are taking cheno- and ursodeoxycholic acids and iron salts, these drugs should be taken at least 2-3 hours before or after administration of Magion.

As with all medicines, Magion may cause side effects:
Constipation, diarrhoea, osteomalacia, hypophosphataemia.
The active substance in Magion is magaldrate. Each tablet contains the active substance Magaldrate 450mg.
Excipients: Mannitol, sodium carboxymethyl starch (type A), menthol, colloidal anhydrous silica, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, talc and saccharin sodium.
These tablets can be swallowed, chewed or dissolved in the mouth.
