This medicine is intended for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age. Pregnant women and breast-feeding mothers can take it according to their doctor's instructions.
The recommended dose of Gaviscon Forte for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age is 1 or 2 sachets together, 1 hour after eating and before going to bed.
In no case should the maximum recommended dose be exceeded.

Each sachet of Gaviscon Forte contains 500 mg sodium alginate, 213 mg sodium hydrogencarbonate (bicarbonate) and 325 mg calcium carbonate as active ingredients. The other excipients are: carbomer, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-216), saccharin sodium, peppermint flavouring no. 2, sodium hydroxide and purified water.
