Iberogast Oral Drops 100 ml

Iberogast is a herbal medicine in the form of oral drops for the symptomatic treatment of gastrointestinal disorders associated with dyspepsia and gastritis, such as pain or heartburn, bloating, flatulence, colic, nausea.

It is formulated with ethanolic liquid extracts of white marjoram, angelica roots, chamomile flowers, caraway fruits, milk thistle fruits, lemon balm leaves, peppermint leaves, celandine and liquorice root.

Comes in a 100 ml bottle.

It is specially formulated for the relief of gas and other gastrointestinal problems in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

The normal recommended dose in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age is 20 drops of Iberogast, 3 times a day, specifically before or during meals, together with a little liquid.

Do not use Iberogast 100 ml:

• In children under 12 years of age
• In case of allergy to any of the active ingredients or to any other component of this medicinal product.
• If you suffer or have suffered from liver disease.
• If you are taking medicines that include liver damage as a side effect.

As for the side effects of Iberogast, the following side effects may occur, including:

• Hypersensitivity allergic reactions to the product, such as skin rash, itching or difficulty breathing.

• Liver damage (increased liver values, drug-related jaundice, hepatitis and liver failure).

Each ml of Bayer Iberogast oral drops contains the following ingredients:

• Ethanolic liquid extract: 0.15 ml of fresh plants of Iberis amara L, carraspique white;

• Ethanolic liquid extracts:0.2 ml of flowers of Matricaria recutita L, chamomile; 0.1 ml of root of Angelica archangelica L, angelica; 0.1 ml of fruit of Carum carvi L, caraway; 0.1 ml of Chelidonium majus L, celandine; 0,1 ml root of Glycyrrhiza glabra L, liquorice; 0,1 ml leaf of Melissa officinalis L, lemon balm; 0,1 ml fruit of Silybum marianum L Gaertner, milk thistle and 0,05 ml leaf of Mentha piperita L, peppermint.

• The other excipients are: ethanol.

Iberogast drops is a medicine formulated with extracts of white marjoram, angelica, peppermint, caraway, milk thistle, celandine, lemon balm leaves, camomile and liquorice indicated to treat disorders of the digestive tract. These include various symptoms such as burning, heaviness, flatulence or bloating, so this medicine offers a fairly effective comprehensive approach for patients over the age of seven.
