Syrup that immobilises helminth parasites, causing their expulsion without causing excitement or stimulating their migration.
Contains 30 ml.
It is a syrup with anthelmintic properties used for parasitic infestations caused by Enterobius vermicularis (pinworms), Ascaris lumbricoides (ascaridiasis), Ancylostoma duodenale and Necator americanus (uncinariasis) and Trichostrongylus colubriformis and orientalis (trichostrongliasis).
Its formula acts by immobilising the parasites and causing them to be expelled through the faeces, without causing them to migrate.
It is intended to treat gastrointestinal parasite infections caused by helminths in adults and children.

- In children under 2 years of age.

Although clinical experience shows that Trilombrin is well tolerated , side effects may occur, although they are not common. These are usually of an intestinal nature, such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhoea and anorexia. Dizziness, drowsiness, insomnia and headaches may also occur.
Each 5 ml of Trilambrin contains 250 mg of pyrantel pamoate as the main active ingredient. The other excipients are: Citric acid, antifoam AF, sodium benzoate, caramel flavour, currant flavour, glycerol, lecithin, polyvinylpyrrolidone, sorbitol 70 %, Tween 80, Veegum and Purified water, s.s.
Trilombrin oral solution is an anthelmintic medicine in syrup form that immobilises parasites and facilitates their expulsion from the intestine, without causing migration of the helminths.
It is taken orally with the aid of a 2.5 / 5 ml measuring spoon (included in the medicine) to obtain the required dose. Moreover, given the low absorption of pyrantel, it is a fairly safe drug for which contraindications rarely occur.
