Lozenges for the symptomatic treatment of cough not accompanied by expectoration. From 12 years of age.
Contains 24 lozenges.
Medicine in the form of lozenges to suck on with honey and lemon flavour, indicated to treat the symptoms of dry or unproductive (irritable, nervous) coughs.
Intended for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
Take 1 lozenge when the cough appears, up to a maximum of 2 every 4-6 hours, according to need. Do not exceed a maximum of 12 lozenges a day.
Do not use Notus Antitussive lozenges:
In children under 12 years of age.
In patients with hypersensitivity or allergy to any of the active ingredients or excipients listed in the composition of this medicine.
In patients with asthmatic cough, productive cough, respiratory failure, high blood pressure, liver disease.
If there is previous or concomitant treatment with: MAOI or SSRI antidepressants, Bupropion, Linezolid, Procarbazine, Selegiline.
In sedated, debilitated or bedridden patients.
In patients with atopic dermatitis, due to histamine release associated with the administration of dextromethorphan.
Teva Notus Antitussive lozenges may cause side effects, as with all medicines. In this case, the following common adverse reactions have been observed: drowsiness and dizziness.
Each tablet of Teva Notus Antitussive contains 10 mg Dextromethorphan hydrobromide as the main active substance. The other excipients are: Cross-linked polyacrylic resin, liquid glucose, sucrose, sodium saccharin, citric acid monohydrate, sodium hydroxide, lemon flavouring and honey flavouring.
The tablets dissolve in the mouth and can be taken with or without food.
Do not take with grapefruit or bitter orange juice or alcoholic beverages.
If cough worsens or persists after more than 7 days of treatment, consult a doctor.
