Oral suspension for the treatment of unproductive forms of cough in adults and children from 2 years of age.

It is a medicine in the form of an oral suspension indicated for the treatment of symptoms of unproductive (irritable, nervous) cough.
It is intended for use in adults and children over 2 years of age.
The recommended dosage varies according to the age of the patient:
Childrenaged 2 to 4 years: 2 ml every 12 hours (twice a day).
Children 5 to 6 years old: 3 ml every 12 hours (twice a day).
Children 7 to 12 years old: 5 ml every 12 hours (twice a day).
Older than 12 years: 10 ml every 8 hours (3 times a day).
Do not use Cloperastine Normon:
In case of hypersensitivity to any of the active substances and/or excipients listed in the composition of this medicinal product.
If you suffer from asthmatic cough, productive cough, persistent cough, respiratory failure, liver disease.
With caution in patients with ocular hypertension, prostatic hypertrophy, arterial hypertension, cardiovascular disorders, myasthenia gravis, peptic ulcer.
In patients with MAOIs and hypersensitivity to antihistamines.
If pregnant or breast-feeding.
Caution when driving and using machinery, as it may cause drowsiness and make it difficult to concentrate.
Cloperastine Normon 120 ml may cause side effects, as with all medicines, but this does not mean that everyone will experience them. In this case, the following common side effects have been observed: drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth.
Each ml of Cloperastine Normon Oral Solution contains 3.54 mg Cloperastine phendizoate as the main active substance. The other excipients are: Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-218), Propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-216), Xanthan gum (E-415), Glycerine (E-422), Carbopol 974 P, Macrogol, 40 stearate, Sodium saccharin (E-954), Banana flavouring, Purified water.
For proper administration of the medicine, use the measuring cup and wash it after each use.
Drink plenty of water while taking this medicine to hydrate the mucous membranes.
Do not drink alcoholic beverages during treatment.
If you do not improve within 7 days or if symptoms worsen during this time, seek medical advice.
