Syrup for the relief of unproductive cough with congestion and runny nose associated with the common cold and flu.

It is a medicated syrup intended for the treatment of the symptoms of non-productive or dry cough, which is accompanied by rhinorrhoea and nasal congestion, as a consequence of the common cold and flu.
Intended for use in adults and children over 6 years of age.
The recommended dosage varies according to the age of the patient:
Children aged 6 to 12 years: take 5 ml of syrup every 8 hours. Do not exceed the maximum dose of 3 intakes per day.
From 12 years of age: take 10 ml every 6-8 hours, not exceeding the maximum dose of 4 intakes per day.
Do not take Iniston Antitussive and Decongestant:
In children under 6 years of age.
In case of hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients and/or excipients listed in the composition of this medicine.
If you suffer from asthmatic cough, productive cough, respiratory insufficiency, high blood pressure, liver disease, ulcerative colitis, glaucoma, hyperthyroidism, peptic ulcers, diabetes or prostatic hypertrophy.
In sedated, debilitated or bedridden patients.
If there is previous or concomitant treatment with: MAOI or SSRI antidepressants, Bupropion, Linezolid, Procarbazine, Selegiline.
If you suffer from atopic dermatitis as a result of histamine release associated with the administration of dextromethorphan.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Iniston Antitussive and Decongestant may cause side effects, as with all medicines. These side effects can be:
Frequent: dry mouth, nausea, dizziness, nervousness.
Each ml of Iniston Antitussive and Decongestant contains 2 mg of dextromethorphan hydrobromide, 0.25 mg of triprolidine hydrochloride 0.25 mg and 6 mg of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride as the main active ingredients. The other excipients are: sucrose, ethanol, sorbitol (E-420), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-218), cochineal red A (Ponceau 4R E-124), sodium benzoate (E-211), sorbitol solution (E-420), blackberry flavouring, levomenthol, vanillin, purified water.
Use the measuring spoon for correct administration of this medicine. Wash the measuring spoon after each use. It is recommended to drink a glass of water immediately afterwards, and avoid drinking grapefruit or orange juice.
It is important to drink plenty of water during treatment to hydrate the mucous membranes and thin the mucus, making it easier to pass.
In patients with sleep problems, administer a few hours before bedtime to reduce the risk of insomnia.
See your doctor if you do not notice any improvement in 5 days or if the symptoms worsen.
