Pharmatusgrip is a medicine in the form of an oral solution sachet that combines paracetamol, dextromethorphan and pseudoephedrine, which is used as an antitussive and to relieve symptoms such as fever, congestion, runny nose and pain.
Therefore, its use is used for the treatment of influenza and catarrhal processes.
Suitable for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
Take 1 sachet every 6-8 hours and no more than 4 sachets a day.
Do not use Pharmatusgrip in children under 12 years of age.
Consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are taking any other medicine for diseases such as epilepsy (lamotrigine, phenobarbital...), depression (barbiturate...), nausea and vomiting (nausea and vomiting).nausea and vomiting (metoclopramide), diuretics (furosemide), antihypertensives and drugs for heart rhythm disturbances (propanolol), depression, Parkinson's disease...
Pregnancy and lactation: this drug cannot be used during pregnancy and lactation.
Do not take with bitter orange or grapefruit juice.
Do not drink alcoholic beverages using this medicine as it may cause liver damage.
This medicine contains sucrose (special care in diabetes), sorbitol, sodium (special care in patients with hypertension) and amaranth (may cause asthma in patients allergic to acetylsalicylic acid).
Like all medicines, Pharmatusgrip sachets may cause side effects:
Frequent adverse reactions: nightmares, excitement, nervousness, dry mouth, throat and nose.
Very frequent side effects: sedation and drowsiness.
The active ingredients of Pharmatusgrip are paracetamol, pseudoephedrine sulphate and dextromethorphan. Each sachet contains 500 mg paracetamol, 30 mg pseudoephedrine sulphate and 15 mg dextromethorphan hydrobromide.
The other ingredients are: anhydrous citric acid, sucrose, saccharin sodium, sorbitol (E-420), sodium citrate (E-331), strawberry flavouring (consisting of natural flavourings, nature identical flavouring substances, maltodextrin, propylene glycol (E-1520), and alpha-tocopherol (E-307)) and amaranth (E-123).
The sachets have a pleasant orange flavour and should be dissolved in at least half a glass of water, stirring well before swallowing.
Do not take more than 4 sachets a day. If after 5 days of treatment the symptoms do not improve, seek medical advice.
