Ointment for external use with analgesic activity for the relief of muscle or joint pain.

It is a topical medicine used for the treatment of joint or muscle pain, such as sprains, strains, torticollis or bruises.
It comes in a 50 g tube.
Suitable for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
Apply to the affected area 3-4 times a day.
It can be applied with a light massage and previously a little dry heat on the area, in order to favour the absorption of the drug and obtain a better effect.
Do not use Tantum 3%:
In children under 12 years of age.
In open wounds, eczematous wounds and burns.
Concomitantly with other types of topical pain treatments.
On eyes and other mucous membranes.
In patients who have suffered allergic reactions such as urticaria, asthma, bronchospasm, rhinitis or any other type of undesired effect linked to the use of topical anti-inflammatories.
If you are going to be in direct contact with the sun.
If you are going to use occlusive dressings.
During pregnancy and lactation, except at the discretion of a competent physician.
Tantum 3% may cause side effects, as with all medicines. In this case, skin reactions have been observed at the site of application such as burning, flushing, urticaria, contact dermatitis, local irritation, photosensitivity.
Each gram of Tantum ointment contains 30 mg of benzydamine hydrochloride as the active substance. Excipients include: 100 mg Propylene Glycol, 100 mg Cetyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Filament Vaseline, Sorbitan Stearate, Polysorbate 60, Propylene Glycol (E1520), Purified Water.
If you suffer from muscle or joint pain, or if you have suffered a blow or sprain, you can apply a little Tantum ointment 3 or 4 times a day.
Do not use this medicine for more than a week without a proper clinical examination.
