Gel for topical use for the treatment of localised pain and mild and occasional inflammation.

It is a medicine formulated with diclofenac sodium, an active ingredient belonging to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and which acts as a local analgesic and anti-inflammatory.
It is therefore indicated for the symptomatic relief of mild to moderate pain and inflammation of small and medium-sized joints.
Suitable for use in adults and adolescents over 14 years of age.
Apply a thin layer of the product to the painful or inflamed area 3-4 times a day.
Wash hands after each application and avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
It is advisable to apply the last application of the day before going to bed.
Do not use Cinfadol Diclofenac Gel:
In children under 12 years of age.
If you are allergic to any of its components, nor if you have a sunburn in the affected area, open wound, eczema or mucous membranes.
If you have experienced any allergic reaction to any NSAID, during the last trimester of pregnancy or in the breast area of breastfeeding women.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding and have not previously consulted your doctor.
Like all medicines, Cinfadol Diclofenac Gel may cause side effects:
Common adverse reactions: rash, itching, redness, burning sensation or peeling of the skin.
The active substance in Cinfadol Diclofenac Gel is diclofenac diethylamine. Each gram of gel contains 11.6 mg diclofenac diethylamine, equivalent to 10 mg diclofenac sodium. The other ingredients are: propylene glycol, isopropanol, diethylamine, liquid paraffin, polyoxyethylene alkyl ether, carbomer 934P NF, coco-caprylate/caprate, perfume cream 45399 and purified water.
This is a clear, odourless gel medicine.
Do not exceed 3 applications per day. If symptoms do not improve or worsen for 3 days you should consult your doctor.
