Voltadol 10 mg/g Topical Gel 100 g

Voltadol is a medicated gel formulated with diclofenac, an active ingredient that is used as a local analgesic and anti-inflammatory for mild pathologies such as torticollis, mild sprains, occasional back pain, contusions.....

It is indicated for adults and adolescents over 14 years of age.

It can be used in pregnant women during the first 6 months, always under medical prescription, as well as during the breastfeeding period, as it can pass into breast milk. However, it is contraindicated during the last 3 months of pregnancy.

Apply a small layer of gel to the painful area 3 or 4 times a day, massaging gently until absorbed. Wash hands immediately afterwards.

Do not use Voltadol gel:

• In case of allergy to diclofenac or any other NSAID and allergy to any of the excipients.

• If occlusive dressings are to be used.

• On areas with wounds, bruises or if other medicines are applied.

• If the treated areas are exposed to the sun.

• During the last trimester of pregnancy.

Voltadol gel may cause side effects, as with all medicines:

• Frequent: rash, itching, redness or stinging of the skin after using the product.

• Rare and Very rare: photosensitivity reactions such as sunburn with itching, swelling and blistering. Difficulty breathing and swelling of the face.

The active substance in Voltadol is diclofenac diethylamine. Each gram of gel contains 11.6 mg diclofenac diethylamine (corresponding to 10 mg diclofenac sodium). The other excipients are: carbomer, ketomacrogol 1000, cocoyl caprylocaprylocaprate, diethylamine, isopropyl alcohol, propylene glycol, liquid paraffin, perfume cream 45 and purified water.

Voltadol is a whitishgel that should be applied to healthy skin with a gentle massage for better absorption. Wait until the product has been completely absorbed before bathing or showering. This medicine, containing half the active ingredient of the Forte variant, allows twice as many applications.
