It is a venotonic medicine that increases the tone of the veins and the resistance of the capillaries, and is therefore indicated for the relief of symptoms related to mild venous insufficiency of the lower limbs. Such symptoms include pain, heaviness, tightness, tingling and itching in legs with varicose veins or swollen legs.
Comes in a pack of 60 capsules.
Suitable for use in adults over 18 years of age.
The recommended dose is 1 capsule 3 times a day, coinciding with the main meals.
Do not take Venosmil capsules:
In children under 18 years of age.
If you are allergic to hydrosmin or any of the ingredients of this medicine.
Do not use in children and adolescents unless your doctor tells you to.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding are not recommended without consulting a doctor, as there is insufficient data on the use of this medicine in these circumstances.
Venosmil capsules may cause side effects, as with all medicines. Specifically, the following have been observed
Hypersensitivity (allergic) reactions to the active substance (hydrosmin) or to any of the excipients, itching, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, nausea and rash.
Each capsule of Venosmil contains 200 mg of hydrosmin.
Excipients: magnesium stearate and gelatine capsule consisting of: gelatine, erythrosine (E127), quinoline yellow (E104), titanium dioxide (E171) and water.
This is a medicine that improves the symptoms of mild venous insufficiency, in tablets that are very easy to take with the help of a little water with the three main meals.
A healthy diet rich in fibre, abundant hydration, specific physical exercise and routines that improve circulation and venous return are recommended.
