These sachets are formulated with oxerutins to protect the blood vessels, relieving symptoms related to mild venous insufficiency of the lower limbs.
Intended for use in adults seeking relief from pain, heaviness, tingling or itching in the legs with varicose veins or swelling.
Do not take Venoruton:
- In case of allergy to oxerutins or to any of the components present in this medicine.
- Children under 18 years of age should not take this product.
Take 1 sachet a day dissolved in a glass of water. Treatment can be extended for up to 2-3 months, always under medical advice.
Symptom relief should occur within the first 2 weeks of treatment, otherwise consult a doctor.
Venoruton sachets may cause side effects, as with other medicines, such as:
- Swelling of the face, lips, throat or tongue.
- Difficulty in swallowing or breathing.
- Itchy skin, with rash, hives or bumps.
Rare side effects include: diarrhoea, flatulence, upset stomach, gastrointestinal upset, stomach pain, dyspepsia, rash, itching or hives.
Very rare side effects may include allergic reactions such as dizziness, headache, fatigue or reddening of the skin.
Each sachet of Venoruton contains 1 gram of oxerutins. The other excipients are: mannitol (E-421), saccharin sodium, orange flavouring (contains sucrose and maltodextrin).
Venoruton is a vasoprotective medicine used for the relief of symptoms of mild venous insufficiency, such as heaviness and swelling of the legs. It is easy to take as it is taken once daily and has a pleasant orange flavour.
It is advisable to follow a healthy diet rich in fibre, as well as plenty of hydration, exercise to activate circulation and adequate rest each day.
