It is a medicine in the form of effervescent tablets indicated for the treatment of thick mucus, facilitating its expulsion, both in flu-like processes and in colds.
It comes in a format of 20 effervescent tablets.
Intended for use in adults over 18 years of age.
Take 1 tablet every 24 hours. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Do not use Fluimucil Forte:
In children under 18 years of age.
In case of hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients or excipients listed in the composition of this medicine.
If you are going to use it together with other cough suppressant medicines.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Caution with: antibiotics such as amphotericin B, ampicillin sodium, cephalosporins, erythromycin lactobionate or some tetracyclines. They may be incompatible or inactivated. It is recommended to separate intakes by at least 2 hours.
Medical supervision in: patients with severe renal or hepatic insufficiency, bronchospasm, respiratory failure, anaemia, gastroduodenal ulcer, patients under treatment with nitroglycerin.
Fluimucil Forte may cause side effects, as with all medicines. In this case, the following most frequent adverse reactions observed are gastrointestinal in nature.
Fluimucil Forte contains 600 mg of acetylcysteine as the main active substance of this medicine. The other excipients are: anhydrous citric acid (E-330), sodium hydrogencarbonate, aspartame (E-951), lemon flavouring (contains glucose and sulphites).
For correct administration of the medicine, place the effervescent tablet in a glass of water and swallow once it has dissolved. It is recommended to take it in the morning and drink plenty of water to hydrate the mucous membranes and thin the mucus to make it easier to pass.
Do not drink alcohol during treatment.
