Syrup that facilitates the elimination of excess mucus and phlegm in colds and flus. From 2 years of age.

It is a medicine in the form of a syrup indicated to treat upper respiratory tract conditions involving the production and excessive secretion of mucus, associated with colds and flus.
Intended for use in adults and children over 2 years of age.
The recommended dosage varies according to the age of the patient:
Children aged 2 to 5 years: 1.25 ml every 8 hours (3 times a day).
Children 6 to 12 years: 2.5 ml every 8-12 hours (3-2 times a day).
From 12 years of age: 5 ml every 12 hours (2 times a day).
Do not use Mucosan 6 mg:
In children under 2 years of age.
In case of hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients or excipients present in the composition of this medicine.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Caution in patients taking antibiotics such as amoxicline, cefuroxime, erythromycin and doxycycline.
Patients with gastroduodenal ulcer, asthma or respiratory insufficiency, consult your doctor.
Medical supervision in patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency.
Mucosan Syrup 6 mg may cause side effects, as with all medicines. Among them, the following frequent adverse reactions have been observed: dysgeusia, pharyngeal hypoaesthesia, nausea and oral hypoaesthesia.
Each ml of Mucosan syrup contains 6 mg of Ambroxol Hydrochloride as the main active substance. The other excipients are: Hydroxyethylcellulose, Sucralose, Benzoic acid (E-210), Strawberry flavouring (contains propylene glycol), Vanilla flavouring (contains propylene glycol), Purified water.
For correct administration, use the measuring cup provided and wash it after each use. It is advisable to drink a glass of water after each dose, in addition to drinking plenty of water during the day to hydrate the mucous membranes and facilitate the action of the medicine.
