It is a medicine in sachet form for oral solution that is indicated for treating upper respiratory tract disorders, which involve the production and excessive secretion of mucus, and are associated with colds and flus.
Intended for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
Take 1 sachet every 8 hours, a maximum of 3 times a day.
Do not use Cinfamucol Carbocisteine 750 mg:
In children under 12 years of age.
Patients with hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients and/or excipients listed in the composition of Cinfamucol Carbocisteine sachets.
Avoid in diabetic patients.
Patients with gastroduodenal ulcer, asthma or respiratory insufficiency, consult your doctor.
Medical control in patients with altered thyroid function.
Do not use during pregnancy. During lactation, consult your doctor.
Cinfamucol Carbocisteine 750 mg may cause side effects, as with all medicines. In this case, the following common adverse reactions have been observed: stomach upset, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting.
Each sachet of Cinfamucol contains 750 mg Carbocisteine as the main active ingredient. The other excipients are: Maltitol liquid (E-965), Sodium hydroxide (E-524), Sodium citrate (E-331), Propylene glycol (E-1520), Hydroxyethylcellulose, Citric acid monohydrate, Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (sodium salt) (E-219), Saccharin sodium, Orange flavouring (E-1520), Sodium hydroxide (E-524), Citric acid monohydrate, Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (sodium salt) (E-219), Sodium saccharin (E-331), Sodium chloride (E-331).(flavouring preparations, flavouring substances, natural flavouring substances, maize maltodextrin, gum arabic (E-414), ascorbic acid (E-414), ascorbic acid (E-414), sodium salt (E-219), sodium salt (E-219), sodium saccharin (E-219)Ascorbic acid (E-300) and butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) (E-320)), Propyl parahydroxybenzoate (sodium salt) (E-217), Orange yellow (E-110), Purified water.
It is recommended to drink plenty of water during treatment in order to moisturise the mucous membranes and thin the mucus, thus making it easier to pass.
