It is an oral solution indicated for treating thick mucus and facilitating its expulsion both in flu-like processes and in colds.
It is intended for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
The recommended dosage is as follows:
Initial dose: 15 ml every 8 hours (3 times a day) divided between morning, afternoon and evening.
Maintenance dose: 10 ml every 8 hours (3 times a day) divided between morning, afternoon and evening.
Do not use Fluidín mucolítico:
In children under 12 years of age.
In patients with hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients and/or excipients listed in the composition of this medicinal product.
In patients with diabetes, without medical supervision.
In parallel with other cough suppressant medicines.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Fluidín Mucolítico may cause side effects, as is the case with all medicines, which does not mean that everyone will suffer from them. In this case, the following frequent reactions have been observed: digestive disorders, headaches.
Each ml of Fluidín Mucolítico contains 50 mg of Carbocisteína as the main active ingredient. The other excipients are: sucrose, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate (E218), sodium salt (E-219), propyl p-hydroxybenzoate (E216), sodium salt (E-217), raspberry essence, sour orange essence, orange essence, cocoa essence, carameline, hydrochloric acid for the preparation.hydrochloric acid for pH adjustment, sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment, demineralised water.
For proper administration of the medicine, use the measuring cup and cleanse after each use. It is recommended to drink plenty of water during treatment to hydrate the mucous membranes and thin the mucus to make it easier to pass.
Do not drink alcohol during treatment.
