Mucibron Forte is a medicine in the form of an oral solution used to treat upper respiratory tract disorders associated with the production and excessive secretion of mucus, associated with colds and flus.
Intended for use in adults and children over 2 years of age.
Dosage varies according to the age of the patient:
Children aged 2 to 5 years: administer 1.25 ml every 8 hours (3 times a day).
Children from 6 to 12 years: take 2.5 ml every 8-12 hours (3-2 times a day).
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: take 5 ml every 12 hours (2 times a day).
Do not use Mucibron Forte:
In children under 2 years of age.
In case of hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients or excipients present in the composition of Mucibron Forte Oral Solution.
If you are pregnant.
Caution in patients taking antibiotics such as amoxicline, cefuroxime, erythromycin and doxycycline.
Patients with gastroduodenal ulcer, asthma or respiratory insufficiency, consult your doctor.
Medical control in patients with renal or hepatic insufficiency.
In lactation period, consult your doctor.
Mucibron Forte may cause side effects, as with all medicines. In this case, the following frequent adverse reactions have been observed: dysgeusia, pharyngeal hypoaesthesia, nausea and oral hypoaesthesia.
Each ml of Mucibron Forte contains 6 mg Ambroxol Hydrochloride as themain active substance.The other excipients are: Tartaricacid , Citric acid monohydrate, Strawberry flavouring, Raspberry flavouring, Disodium edetate, Sorbitol (E-420), Hydroxyethylcellulose, Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-218), Propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-216), Soy citrate dihydrate, Sorbitol (E-420), Hydroxyethylcellulose, Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-218), Propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-216), Soy Citratedihydrate, Aspartame (E- 951), Glycerol, Purified water.
For correct administration of the medicinal product, use the measuring cup and wash it after each use. Drink a glass of water after each use. It is also recommended to drink plenty of water during treatment to hydrate mucous membranes and thin mucus, thus facilitating its outflow.
Once opened, it lasts for 4 weeks. After this time, it should be discarded.
