Peppermint flavoured lozenges for the symptomatic relief of pain and irritation of the mouth and throat.
Contains 20 lozenges.
It is a medicine formulated with bencinamide, an active ingredient with local anti-inflammatory action that is commonly used to relieve temporary sore throat pain, as well as irritation or discomfort when swallowing.
It comes in a handy pack of 20 mint-flavoured sucking tablets.
Suitable for use in adults and children over 6 years of age.
Take 1 tablet every 8 hours and no more than 3 per day.
Do not use Tantum Verde Menta in children under 6 years of age.
This medicine is contraindicated in patients who have had stomach and intestinal ulcers, as well as in patients suffering from heart, liver or kidney diseases.
Pregnancy and lactation: a doctor should be consulted.
This medicine contains isomalt (special care in patients with intolerance to certain sugars), aspartame (special care in patients with phenylketonuria), peppermint flavouring with benzyl alcohol, citronellol, d-limonene, eugenol, geraniol (may cause allergic reactions).
Like all medicines, Tantum Verde may cause side effects:
Frequent adverse reactions: numbness, drowsiness, blisters in the mouth, burning sensation in the mouth, altered sense of taste.
Very frequent adverse reactions: Dizziness, headache, throat irritation, sore throat, headaches.
The active ingredient in Tantum Verde mint flavour is benzydamine. Specifically, each lozenge contains 3 mg of benzydamine hydrochloride (equivalent to 2.68 mg of benzydamine).
The other ingredients are: isomalt (E953), aspartame (E951), levomenthol, citric acid monohydrate, lemon flavouring, peppermint flavouring, quinoline yellow (E104), indigotine (E132).
Tantum verde mint flavour is a green lozenge.
Put the lozenge in your mouth and let it dissolve slowly in your mouth without stopping to move it, as it is a medicine for local use.
Do not forget to take the minimum number of lozenges to relieve symptoms in as few days as possible. Do not use this treatment for more than 3 days in a row without a doctor's prescription.
