Tablets for the relief of mild infections and inflammations of the mouth and throat with pain and without fever.

It is a medicine in the form of mint and eucalyptus-flavoured lozenges with a triple action: antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and anaesthetic. All thanks to its formula with chlorhexidine, enoxolone and benzocaine, three active ingredients widely used to relieve sore throat infections or inflammation without fever.
Intended for use in adults and children over 6 years of age.
Dissolve a lozenge to suck slowly in the mouth, without chewing or swallowing, so that the active ingredients can act correctly in the area. Dosage varies according to the age of the patient:
Children aged 6 to 12 years: administer 1 tablet every 4 to 5 hours, without exceeding the maximum dose of 6 tablets a day.
Over 12 years of age: take 1 tablet every 2 or 3 hours, without exceeding the maximum amount of 8 tablets a day.
Do not use Angileptol eucalyptus:
In children under 6 years of age, nor in those over 65 years of age.
In case of allergy to benzocaine or to any of the ingredients present in this medicine.
In patients with diabetes.
If pregnant or breast-feeding, except on medical advice.
Angileptol mint-eucalyptus flavour may cause side effects, as with all medicines. Specifically, the following have been observed:
Frequent: irritation of the mouth or tip of the tongue, allergic reactions due to the use of chlorhexidine or benzocaine.
Very frequent: oedema, hypertension or discolouration of the teeth (removed by cleaning) or altered taste.
Each mint and eucalyptus flavoured Angileptol lozenge contains 5 mg chlorhexidine dichloride, 4 mg benzocaine 4 mg and 3 mg enoxolone as the main active ingredients. The other excipients are: sorbitol (E420), acesulfame potassium (E950), magnesium stearate and peppermint-eucalyptus flavouring.
This medicine comes in the form of white lozenges with a pleasant mint and eucalyptus flavour. It is recommended to take the minimum amount of tablets that is effective in relieving symptoms, in as few days as possible.
