Strefen Orange, 16 lozenges, for sucking

It is a medicine in the form of lozenges formulated with flurbiprofen, an active ingredient that belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and is used for the relief of sore throat, irritation or discomfort when swallowing.

It comes in a pack of 16 tablets.

Suitable for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

Take 1 Strefen Orange tablet every 3 to 6 hours and no more than 5 a day.

Do not use Strefen Orange:

• In children under 12 years of age.
• In case of allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
• In patients who have had stomach and intestinal ulcers, as well as in patients suffering from heart, liver or kidney diseases.

• Special caution in patients taking other drugs such as antihypertensives or cardiac drugs, other NSAIDs such as ibuprofen, diclofenac... you should consult your doctor before combining these drugs.
• Pregnancy and lactation: consult your doctor.
• Alcohol should be avoided during treatment with Strefen, as it may cause bleeding in the stomach and intestine.
• This medicine contains glucose and sucrose (special care in patients with intolerance to certain sugars), gluten (special care in patients with coeliac disease), fragrances (may cause allergic reactions), sulphur dioxide and butylated hydroxyanisole (may cause allergic reactions).

As with all medicines, Strefen Orange may cause side effects as listed below:

• Frequent: numbness, drowsiness, blisters in the mouth, burning sensation in the mouth, altered sense of taste.

• Very frequent: Dizziness, headache, sore throat, sore throat, headaches.

The active ingredient in Strefen Orange Flavour is flurbiprofen. Specifically, each tablet contains 8.75 mg of flurbiprofen. The other ingredients are: macrogol 300, potassium hydroxide (E525), orange flavouring, levomenthol, acesulfame potassium (E950), liquid maltitol (E965) and isomalt (E953).

Strefen lozenges are yellowish-white lozenges with an orange flavour, which make them very pleasant to take.

They are very easy to use. Just pop a lozenge in your mouth and slowly dissolve it in your mouth while swishing it around, as it is a local medicine.
Take the minimum number of tablets to relieve symptoms in the fewest number of days possible.

Do not use this treatment for more than 3 days without a doctor's prescription.
