Symptomatic relief of constipation and problems related to stomach acidity.
Intolerance to any of its components. Severe renal or cardiac insufficiency. Alkalosis. Hypertension. Appendicitis or its symptoms (abdominal pain associated with cramps, nausea and vomiting). Bloated belly and intestinal obstruction or inflammation.
Do not take on a stomach too full of food or drink. Do not exceed the recommended dose or use continuously for more than six days in a row without medical advice. If symptoms worsen or persist, consult a doctor.
Due to increased intestinal motility, it may modify the systemic absorption of other drugs administered simultaneously (oral anticoagulants, phenytoin, diazepam, digitalis glycosides, oral iron preparations, fluoride, tetracyclines, etc.)....), so it is recommended to consult a doctor and to separate the intake of these medicines by about two hours.
When administered together with cimetidine and ranitidine, it is recommended to space out the intake by one hour. Do not take with milk or its derivatives and calcium. Interferes with gastric acid secretion detection tests. Do not take on the morning of testing.
Persons who must control the amount of salt ingested (sodium-restricted diets) should note that each dose contains 682.4 mg of sodium. In case of bloody stools, propensity to water retention (oedema) or treatment with diuretics, consult a doctor before using this product.
