Tablets with paracetamol for the symptomatic treatment of feverish conditions and mild to moderate pain.
Contains 20 tablets.
Paracetamol tablets are formulated with paracetamol and are used to treat symptoms of pain. It is also used as an antipyretic to reduce fever.
It is indicated for adults and those over 14 years of age.
In adults and adolescents over 14 years of age, take 1 tablet every 4-6 hours, without exceeding 3 g/day of paracetamol.
For sore throat, do not take for more than 2 days, without appropriate clinical evaluation.
In patients with impaired renal function, the dose should be adjusted as follows.
Glomerular filtration 10-50 ml/min, the dose should be 500 mg every 6 hours.
Glomerular filtration rate less than 10 ml/min, the dose should be 500 mg every 8 h.
It is not recommended that the dose exceeds 60 mg/kg/day of paracetamol.
In patients with hepatic insufficiency, the dose should not exceed 2 g/day, with an interval of 8 hours between doses.
Do not use Stadapharm paracetamol if you are hypersensitive to paracetamol or any of the excipients, in hepatocellular disorders or phenylketonuria.
Special care should be taken in patients with chronic alcoholism, renal failure, heart failure, lung diseases and anaemia, among others.
No problems have been reported in pregnant women, although a doctor should always be consulted before use.
No problems have been reported in breast-feeding, although a doctor should always be consulted before use, as maximum concentrations of 10-15 microlitres/ml have been found in milk 2 hours after ingestion.
A doctor should be consulted if you are taking medicines such as chloramphenicol, propranolol, probenecid, oral anticoagulants, anticonvulsants, loop diuretics, methotrexate, methotrexate, methotrexate, methotrexate and other drugs.The doctor should also be consulted if you are taking loop diuretics, metoclopramide, domperidone, rifampicin, lamotrigine, isoniazid, among others, as the plasma levels of these or of paracetamol may be affected, increasing or decreasing, causing toxicity or shielding the effect relatively.
Paracetamol Stadapharm 650 mg may cause side effects, as is the case with all medicines. This does not mean that everyone will suffer from them. In this case, the following have been observed:
Hypersensitivity reactions (urticaria, anaphylactic shock), general malaise, agranulocytosis, hypoglycaemia, increased transaminases, hepatotoxicity, cloudy urine, among others.
Increase in hepatic transaminases.
It may also cause hypotension.
Each tablet of Stadapharm contains 650 mg of paracetamol, which is the active substance of the medicine.
Excipients: potato starch glycolate type A, povidone K30, stearic acid, crospovidone (E1202) and purified water.
If you have pain from any kind of blow, illness, contracture, menstrual pain, headache or fever, take one tablet of this medicine every 4-6 hours, depending on the intensity of the symptoms.
Remember not to exceed the maximum dose of 60 mg/kg/day, divided into several doses per day.
If after 5 days of treatment the pain does not improve or new symptoms appear, stop the treatment and see your doctor for a clinical assessment and appropriate adjustment of the treatment. The same procedure should be followed if feverish symptoms last longer than 3 days.
