What your pharmacist says

Ibufen is ibuprofen for the relief of pain or fever. So, if you have any kind of muscle pain, pain due to contracture, sprained ankle or an inflammatory or dental process, take one or half a tablet of Ibufen every 4-8 hours, without exceeding the maximum daily amount indicated for each case. It can also be used in febrile states at the same dose. If symptoms last longer than 5 days, worsen, or if you experience any unknown symptoms or adverse reactions, stop treatment and consult a doctor.

Please note that ibuprofen is photosensitive, which means that it may cause adverse skin reactions. Such reactions can be phototoxicity (the most common) or even photoallergy. It is therefore recommended to use broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) and to avoid direct sun exposure while taking ibuprofen.

Please read the Ibufen package leaflet inside the medicine carefully. If you have any questions, you can consult our team of expert pharmacists.
