Oral solution for the relief of cough that facilitates the expulsion of mucus and phlegm in adults and children from 6 years of age.

It is a medicine in the form of a syrup that is indicated for the relief of coughs, as well as to facilitate the elimination and expulsion of mucus and phlegm in colds and flus.
Intended for use in adults and children over 6 years of age.
The recommended daily dose varies according to the age of the patient:
Children 7 to 12 years: 5 ml every 8 hours (3 times a day).
Over 12 years of age: 10 ml every 8 hours (3 times a day).
Do not use Notus antitussive and expectorant:
In children under 6 years of age.
In case of allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients and/or excipients listed in the composition of this medicinal product.
If you are taking or have taken in the last few weeks MAOI medicines.
In parallel with other nasal decongestants, NSAIDs, antiarrhythmics or haloperidol.
In patients with arterial hypertension, prostatic hypertrophy, asthma, respiratory failure, chronic or persistent cough, diabetes, glaucoma, hyperthyroidism, cough accompanied by excessive expectoration, fructose intolerance.
In patients with gastroduodenal ulcer, asthma or respiratory insufficiency, consult your doctor.
If pregnant or breast-feeding.
Caution when driving and using machinery: in rare cases, dizziness and lightheadedness may occur.
Notus Antitussive and Expectorant may cause side effects, as with all medicines. In particular, the following common side effects have been observed in connection with the use of this medicine: restlessness, nervousness, anxiety, muscle tremor, sleep disturbances, taste distortion.
Each ml of Notus Antitussive and Expectorant contains 2 mg Dextromethorphan hydrobromide, 20 mg Guaifenesin and 6 mg Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride as the main active ingredients. The other excipients are: Sorbitol (E-420), Povidone, Sodium benzoate (E-211), Citric acid anhydrous, Strawberry flavouring, Purified water, Aspartame (E-951).
For correct administration of the medicine, use the measuring cup and rinse after each use. Drink a glass of water immediately to facilitate its action.
Do not take with grapefruit or orange juice.
It is recommended to drink plenty of water during treatment to hydrate mucous membranes and thin mucus, thus facilitating its outflow.
In patients with sleep problems, administer hours before bedtime to reduce the risk of insomnia.
Consult a doctor if no improvement is noted after 7 days or if symptoms worsen during this time.
