Honey and lemon flavoured lozenges for short term relief of sore throat symptoms. For 12 years and over.
Contains 16 lozenges.
It is a medicine formulated with flurbiprofen, an active substance that belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Its use is reserved for the relief of temporary sore throat, irritation or discomfort when swallowing.
Suitable for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
Take 1 lozenge every 3 to 6 hours and no more than 5 a day.
Do not use Lizifen Honey Lemon Flavour in children under 12 years of age.
Alcohol consumption should be avoided during LIZIFEN treatment, as it may cause stomach and intestinal bleeding.
This medicine is contraindicated in patients who have had ulcers of the stomach and intestine.
Special care should be taken in patients taking other drugs such as antihypertensives or cardiac medicines, other NSAIDs such as ibuprofen, diclofenac, etc. You should consult your doctor before combining these drugs.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: consult your doctor.
This medicine contains Isomalt and maltitol (special care should be taken in patients with intolerance to certain sugars), it may produce a slight laxative effect.
Like all medicines, Lizifen may cause side effects:
Frequent adverse reactions: numbness, drowsiness, blisters in the mouth, burning sensation in the mouth, altered sense of taste.
Very frequent adverse reactions: Dizziness, headache, throat irritation, sore throat, headaches.
The active substance in Lizifen honey-lemon is flurbiprofen. Each lozenge contains 8.75 mg flurbiprofen.
The other ingredients are: Isomalt, maltitol, macrogol 300 (E-1521), peppermint oil, honey flavouring and lemon essence.
Lizifen is a yellowish, honey-lemon flavoured lozenge.
Take the minimum number of lozenges to relieve symptoms in the shortest number of days.
Do not use this treatment for more than 3 days unless prescribed by your doctor.
