It is a medicated syrup indicated to reduce phlegm and bronchial secretions that accompany productive coughs.
It is intended for use in people over 12 years of age.
Take 10 ml every 6 hours, without exceeding the maximum dose of 4 intakes per day.
Do not use Iniston Expectorant mint flavour:
In children under 12 years of age.
In case of hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients and/or excipients listed in the composition of this medicine.
In diabetic patients, or patients with severe renal or hepatic insufficiency.
In parallel with other cough suppressant medicines.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding.
Iniston Expectorant mint flavour may cause side effects, as with all medicines. These side effects include:
Frequent: upset stomach, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting.
Each ml of Iniston Expectorant mint-flavoured syrup contains 20 mg Guaifenesin as the main active ingredient. The other excipients are: Xanthan gum, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Saccharin, Ammonium Glycyrrhizate, Sodium Benzoate (E211), Citric Acid, Citrate Sodium, Macrogol glycolGlycerol Hydroxystearate 40, Levomenthol, Raspberry flavouring E2126 (including ethanol), Caramel (E150), Ponceau 4R (E124), Glycerol, Macrogol 1500, Propylene glycol (E1520), Ethanol 96%, Purified water.
Use the measuring cup for correct administration of this medicine. Drink a glass of water after each dose, avoiding grapefruit or orange juice.
It is recommended to drink plenty of water during treatment to hydrate the mucous membranes and thin the mucus, making it easier to pass.
If the treatment does not improve within 5 days or if the symptoms worsen, consult a doctor.
