Lozenges for the temporary relief of symptoms of mild throat infections such as sore throat, irritation, aphonia.

It is a medicine in the form of lozenges to suck on that has a double effect thanks to its components:
Antiseptic action due to chlorhexidine.
Anaesthetic action due to benzocaine.
Therefore, it is indicated for the relief of throat infections or inflammations with pain and/or without fever.
Suitable for use in adults and children over 6 years of age.
Take 1 lozenge every 2 to 3 hours and no more than 8 a day.
Do not use Hibitane Aniseed in children under 6 years of age is contraindicated, as children are more sensitive to the use of benzocaine, as well as in those over 65 years of age, which is also not indicated for use, in addition to sensitivity because it produces hypertension.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: a doctor should be consulted.
This medicine contains sodium (special care in hypertension).
Like all medicines, Hibitane Anise may cause side effects:
Frequent adverse reactions: irritation of the mouth or tip of the tongue, allergic reactions due to the use of chlorhexidine or benzocaine.
Very frequent adverse reactions: Oedema (due to fluid retention), hypertension, discolouration of the teeth may occur (this is temporary and is removed by cleaning) and altered taste may occur.
The active ingredients of Hibitane Anise are: 5 mg chlorhexidine dichloride and 5 mg benzocaine.
The other ingredients are:Mannitol (E-421), microcrystalline cellulose (E-460), povidone, magnesium stearate, sodium cyclamate, sodium saccharin (E-954) and aniseed flavouring (contains modified corn starch, cinnamal, cinnamyl alcohol, citral, eugenol, farnesol, geraniol, limonene and linalool).
Hibitane is a medicine in the form of aniseed-flavoured lozenges.
Take the minimum number of lozenges to relieve symptoms in the shortest number of days.
Let the tablet dissolve slowly in your mouth, without chewing or swallowing.
