It is a medicine in granulated powder form that has an antacid action for the treatment and relief of symptoms related to heartburn and acidity.
It is intended for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age seeking to treat the symptoms of heartburn.
Dissolve 5 g of effervescent powder in a glass of water, preferably 1 to 3 hours after meals. Do not exceed the maximum recommended dose of 10 g (2 uses) per day.
Do not take ENO Lemon Fruit Salt:
- If you are under 12 years of age.
- If you are allergic to sodium hydrogencarbonate or to any of the other active ingredients and excipients present in this medicine.
- If you suffer from heart, kidney or liver disease.
- If you are on a low sodium diet.
- If you have high blood pressure.
Like all medicines, Eno Fruit Salt may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Among them, the following have been observed: flatulence, belching, bloating of the abdomen, mild irritation of the stomach or intestine.
Each 5 grams of Eno Fruit Salt contains 2,288 mg of sodium hydrogencarbonate, 2,157 mg of anhydrous citric acid and 500 mg of anhydrous sodium carbonate as the main active ingredients. The other excipients are: lemon flavouring, indigo carmine (E-132), quinoline yellow (E-104), saccharin sodium, deterpenated lime flavouring.
ENO Fruit Salt lemon flavour is a medicine that improves excess acidity and heartburn.
It is very easy to use. Just pour a little of the product into half a glass of water and wait until the effervescence disappears before taking it.
It is recommended to leave between 1 and 3 hours after eating, in case of gastric discomfort.
