Cinfahelix syrup may cause side effects, as with all medicines. This does not mean that all people will experience side effects. In this case, the following have been observed:
Frequent: nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea.
Rare: allergic reactions such as hives, skin rash or dyspnoea.
Each ml of Cinfahelix syrup contains 8.25 mg of dry extract of Hedera helix L. The other excipients are: non-crystallisable liquid sorbitol (E-420), xanthan gum, potassium sorbate, anhydrous citric acid, purified water.
This is a plant-based syrup with a brown appearance and a slightly sweet taste. As it helps the body to carry out the natural process of expectoration, it is interesting to alleviate the effects of productive coughs or coughing up mucus.
It is recommended to drink plenty of water for the duration of the treatment in order to maximise its action.
