Bronchostop is a herbal medicine for the treatment of productive coughs associated with colds, as well as for the relief of dry coughs and sore throats.
It comes in a format of 20 soft lozenges.
This product is intended for adults and children over 6 years of age.
It is not recommended to take this medicine during pregnancy and lactation without the consent of a doctor.
The recommended dosage varies according to the age of the patient.
From 12 years of age: take 1 or 2 tablets every 4 hours (4 to 6 times a day). The maximum daily dose is 12 tablets.
Children aged 6-12 years: take 1 tablet every 3-4 hours (4 to 6 times a day). The maximum daily dose is 6 tablets.
Do not extend the treatment for more than five days.
Do not use Bronchostop:
In case of allergy to any of its components.
In children under 6 years of age.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, unless prescribed by a doctor.
The most frequent side effects are gastrointestinal problems and in hypersensitive individuals allergic reactions or anaphylactic shock may occur.
The active ingredients are: 51.1 mg dry extract of thyme (Thymus vulgaris or Thymus zygis), 4.5 mg dry extract of marshmallow root (Althaea officinalis).
The excipients are: Acacia (gum arabic E414), liquid sorbitol (E420), liquid maltitol, maltodextrin, anhydrous citric acid (E330), saccharin sodium, aronia flavouring, forest berry flavouring, light liquid paraffin, white beeswax, purified water.
Bronchostop can be used for the treatment of both dry and productive coughs. It comes in the form of soft lozenges that dissolve in the mouth and have a pleasant taste.
