Bronchostop Antitussive and Expectorant, oral solution is an herbal cough medicine for productive cough associated with colds to relieve dry coughs in sore throats.
It is a product intended for adults and children over 6 years of age.
It is not recommended to take this medicine during pregnancy and breast-feeding without the consent of a doctor.
Adults and those over 12 years of age, it is advisable to take 15 ml every 4 hours, up to a maximum of 4 times a day. If necessary, a maximum of 6 doses per day, also spaced every 4 hours, may be taken.
Do not take Bronchostop if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
Bronchostop is contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation, unless prescribed by a doctor.
The most frequent adverse reactions are gastrointestinal problems and in hypersensitive individuals allergic reactions or anaphylactic shock may occur.
The active ingredients are:15 ml (= 16.7 g) of oral solution contain:0.12 g dry extract of thyme leaves and flowers,0.83 g liquid extract of marshmallow root.
The excipients are: Xylitol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 216), concentrated raspberry juice (containing sucrose, glucose and fructose), raspberry flavouring, xanthan gum, citric acid monohydrate (E 330), maltodextrin, gum arabic, purified water.
This syrup has a very pleasant thyme and raspberry flavour, which is not usually unpleasant. It is recommended for both dry coughs and coughs with mucus.

Do not take Bronchotos MAX 8 in 1 if you are hypersensitive or allergic to Iceland moss, marshmallow root or any of the other ingredients listed. Concomitant use of Bronchotos MAX 8 in 1 with medicines: If you take medicines, it is recommended that you take them between ½ hour and 1 hour before or after taking Bronchotos MAX 8 in 1. Use during pregnancy and breast-feeding: Bronchotos MAX 8 in 1 is not recommended during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Please consult a doctor if: - Your symptoms persist or worsen after 5 days - You develop fever or purulent sputum while using Bronchotos MAX 8 in 1 syrup. Use in patients with diabetes 15 ml of Bronchotos MAX 8 in 1 contains 0.10 CU (carbohydrate units). Side effects Bronchotos MAX 8 in 1 contains methyl-p-hydroxybenzoate and propyl-p-hydroxybenzoate as preservatives, which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed). Bronchotos MAX 8 in 1 may cause gastrointestinal disorders and hypersensitivity reactions. For children from 1 to 4 years of age, it is recommended to consult a doctor before taking Bronchotos MAX 8 in 1 to rule out other more serious diseases. STORAGE AND STORAGE Do not use this product after the expiry date stated on the label and on the carton. The expiry date is the last day of the month indicated. Do not store above 25°C. Close the bottle tightly after use. Once opened, consume within 4 weeks of opening. Store the bottle in its original container in order to protect it from light.
