Acyline is an antacid drug whose mechanism of action is to neutralise excess stomach acid, so it is indicated for symptoms of heartburn and/or acidity.
Intended for use in adults and children over 12 years of age.
The usual dose is half to one sachet every 6 hours, whenever there are symptoms. It is recommended to be taken 20 minutes to one hour after meals. If symptoms persist, one sachet can be taken before bedtime.
Do not use Acyline:
In children under 12 years of age.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, unless under medical supervision and on medical advice.
If you suffer from alcoholism or liver problems.
Acyline may cause side effects, as with all medicines:
Frequent: constipation, diarrhoea or regurgitation.
Very frequent side effects are usually very mild and temporary.
The active ingredients are: algeldrate 620 mg, magnesium hydroxide 380 mg, aluminium hydroxide-magnesium carbonate coprecipitate 630 mg. The other excipients are: sucralose (E-955), ethanol (96%), chlorhexidine acetate, hydroxyethylcellulose, peppermint flavouring and purified water.
Acyline is an oral suspension sachet with a pleasant mint flavour that neutralises heartburn and sourness.
Special care should be taken with Acyline as it contains 96% alcohol and is not recommended for use in patients with alcoholism or in high-risk groups (epilepsy, liver problems, etc.).
The treatment should be effective within 14 days. If this is not the case, you should consult your doctor.
