Syrup for the treatment of occasional constipation in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

It is a medicine in the form of a syrup used to treat the symptoms of occasional constipation.
It comes in a 60 ml bottle.
Suitable for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
Take orally.
Take 5 ml every 8 hours, as needed. The dose should be individualised and the minimum possible that is effective to obtain a bowel movement.
The recommended duration is a maximum of 6 days. Generally, it would be sufficient to take it 2 or 3 times in 1 week of treatment.
Do not take Dr. Manceau Syrup:
If you are allergic to any of the components of this medicine.
Undiagnosed abdominal pain, intestinal atony, intestinal obstruction and strictures, colic and nausea.
Other symptoms that may suggest the presence of appendicitis
Inflammatory organic colopathies (ulcerative colpitis, Crohn's disease)
painful abdominal pain syndromes of undetermined cause
Water and electrolyte metabolic disorders.
Do not use in fructose intolerance, glucose/galactose malabsorption and sucrose-isomaltase deficiency.
Pregnancy, lactation not recommended without medical advice.
Dr Manceau's syrup may cause side effects, as with all medicines. In particular, it may cause intestinal discomfort such as cramps, in which case it may be necessary to reduce the dose. It may also cause allergic reactions such as pruritus, urticaria or exanthema.
Dr. Manceau syrup contains the following active ingredients:
Aqueous extract of Pyrus Malus L fruit (Queen Apple).
Aqueous extract of leaves of Cassia angustifolia Vahl (senna)
Aqueous fruit extract of Coriander sativum L (coriander)
This medicine is considered to be a laxative formulated for occasional constipation, with a sweet taste, easy to take thanks to its measuring spoon. It is advisable to take it every eight hours, at the lowest effective dose, especially interesting to take it at the end of the day with water.
A healthy diet rich in fibre and abundant hydration is recommended, as well as adequate exercise and rest each day.
