Laxative syrup that aids bowel emptying in cases of occasional constipation in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age.

It is a medicine that is part of the so-called contact laxatives, the purpose of which is to facilitate bowel emptying.
It is intended for use in adults over 12 years of age who have difficulty going to the toilet.
Dosage is very simple, as a single 25 ml dose is sufficient.
Do not take Orravan castor oil:
If you are under 12 years of age.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, unless recommended by your doctor.
If you suffer or have suffered from any colon-related disorder, such as Chron's disease or ulcerative colitis.
If you suffer from dehydration, nausea, vomiting or abdominal pain.
Orravan castor oil may cause side effects, as with all medicines, but this does not mean that everyone will experience them. The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain or diarrhoea.

This medicine has a composition of 1g of oil obtained from the seeds of Ricinus communis L.
There are occasions when the rate of bowel movements may be altered, so it is recommended that this product be taken to facilitate bowel emptying.
The oil can be mixed with fruit juice or a chilled drink. It is not recommended to take it just before going to sleep, as the bowel movement will occur between 2 and 6 hours after administration.
