It is a topical medicine in cream form formulated with diphenhydramine, an antihistamine that relieves the symptoms of itching and stinging of the skin in allergic reactions caused by insect stings, jellyfish stings or stinging nettles.
Intended for use in adults and children over 6 years of age seeking relief from the symptoms of itchy, stinging skin caused by insect stings, jellyfish stings or stinging nettles.
Apply a small amount of cream to the affected area, without exceeding the maximum dose of 3-4 applications per day.
Do not use Neosayomol:
Neosayomol cream may cause side effects, as is the case with all medicines, which does not mean that everyone will suffer from them.
In particular, allergic or hypersensitivity reactions have been observed, characterised by: photosensitivity, phototoxicity, pruritus, redness or inflammation of the skin after intense exposure to sunlight.
Neosayomol cream contains diphenhydramine hydrochloride as the main active ingredient. The other excipients are: menthol, Sepineo P600 (consisting of: acrylamide/sodium acryloyldimethyltaurate copolymer, isohexadecane, polysorbate 80 and purified water), glycerol, isopropyl myristate, calendula oil (consisting of: prunis armeniaca kernel oil, calendula officinalis flower extract and mineral oil), sodium hydroxide and purified water.
Neosayamol 20 mg/g cream is a very effective antihistamine medicine for the treatment of allergic symptoms caused by insect stings, stinging nettles or jellyfish.
It is one of the medicines considered as a first aid kit . In this case, its use is prescribed for situations involving irritation or itching, for which we recommend cleansing the area with saline solution and applying a small amount of ointment for immediate cooling and relief.
