Melanase Cream 15 gr

It is a medicine in cream form for skin use formulated with hydroquinone, an active ingredient that gradually reduces the production of excess melanin, which causes the appearance of dark spots on the skin.

Intended for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age seeking to reduce hyperpigmentation marks on the skin, such as freckles or sun spots.

Apply a thin layer of Melanasa cream twice a day on the previously washed and dried spot, preferably morning and night, until the desired result is achieved. For best results, it is recommended to follow the treatment for several weeks (no more than 6 months). Once used, wash hands with soap.

It is important to apply a sunscreen with a high protection factor to the stain, or cover it with clothing to protect the area from sun damage.

Do not use Melanase:

- If you are under 12 years of age.

- In case of allergy to the active ingredients or to any of the components present in this medicine.

- On irritated skin, open wounds, mucous membranes or sunburn.

Melanase cream can produce adverse effects, as with other medicines, which does not mean that everyone will suffer from them. In fact, as it is a topical medicine, the probability of suffering them is very rare. These effects are:

- Infrequent: itching, erythema.

- Rare: increased skin sensitivity, hyperpigmentation of the skin.

- Very rare: leucoderma, ochronosis.

Each gram of cream contains 20 mg of hydroquinone as the main active ingredient. The other excipients are: emulsifying ketostearyl alcohol type B, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, isopropyl myristate, polyoxyethylenated ketostearyl alcohol, decyl oleate, hydrogenated and polyoxyethylenated castor oil, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, cetyl alcohol, propylene glycol, propylene glycol, propylene glycol, propylene glycol, propylene glycol, propylene glycol, propylene glycol, propylene glycol, propylene glycol.lico alcohol, propylene glycol (E-1520), tocopherol acetate, sodium metabisulphite (E-223), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E-216), edetate disodium, lactic acid (E-270) and purified water.
