Gel for the relief of itchy skin associated with skin reactions in adults and children from 1 month of age.

It is a topical medicine in gel form with antihistamine properties thanks to its formula with dimethindene maleate, which relieves itching symptoms associated with skin reactions such as rashes, hives, sunburn, superficial burns or insect bites.
Intended for adults and children from 1 month of age who suffer from itching associated with skin reactions caused by minor burns, insect bites or hives.
Do not use Fenistil:
- In newborn and premature infants.
- In case of allergy to dimethindene maleate or to any of the other ingredients included in this medicine.
- Do not apply to large areas of skin in infants and young children, as well as during pregnancy and lactation.
Apply a thin layer to the area of skin to be treated, massaging gently until completely absorbed.
The recommended dose varies according to the age of the patient:
- Adults and children over 2 years of age: use 2 to 4 times a day, if necessary.
- Children over 1 month to 2 years: use only under medical supervision.
Fenistil gel may cause side effects, as with all medicines, but this does not mean that everyone will experience them. In particular, the use of Fenistil gel may cause
- Dry skin, rash, itching and burning sensation.
Each gram of Fenistil gel contains 1 mg of dimethindene maleate as the main active ingredient. The other excipients are: benzalkonium chloride, edetate disodium, carbomer, sodium hydroxide, propylene glycol and purified water.
Fenistil is a so-called antihistamine medicine, which comes as an easy-to-apply gel with a colourless, non-greasy, non-staining texture. It is used to treat insect bites or minor burns.
Clean the affected area with serum and apply 2 to 4 times a day to intact, unbroken skin with a gentle massage.
