Fenistil Topical Gel 50 gr

It is a gel medicine for topical use that has antihistamine properties because it is formulated with dimethindene maleate, an active ingredient that relieves itching symptoms associated with skin reactions such as rashes, urticaria, sunburn or superficial burns, or insect bites.

It comes in a 50g tube pack.

Suitable for use in adults and children from 1 month of age suffering from itching associated with skin reactions.

Do not use Fenistil:

• In newborn and premature infants.

• In case of allergy to dimethindene maleate or any of the other ingredients included in this medicine.

• Do not apply to large areas of skin in infants and young children, as well as during pregnancy and lactation.

Apply a thin layer to the area of skin to be treated, massaging gently until absorbed. Can be used 2 to 4 times a day, if necessary.

Fenistil gel may cause side effects, as with all medicines on the market. This does not mean that everyone will suffer from them. In particular, dry skin, rash, itching and burning sensation have been observed.

Each gram of Fenistil gel contains 1 mg dimethindene maleate as the main active ingredient. The other excipients are: benzalkonium chloride, edetate disodium, carbomer, sodium hydroxide, propylene glycol and purified water.

This is a so-called antihistamine medicine, which comes in the form of an easy-to-apply, colourless, non-greasy gel with a non-staining, non-staining texture. It is used for the treatment of insect bites or minor burns.

Clean the affected area with serum and apply 2 to 4 times a day to intact, unbroken and unwounded skin with a gentle massage.
