Ebacin is a medicine that contains the active substance Ebastine. It belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines (anti-allergics) .
Ebastine is indicated for the relief of allergic rhinoconjunctivitis (sneezing, nasal itching, runny nose, nasal congestion and red, watery eyes) and urticaria (hives) with mild symptoms.
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age, when the dose of 10 mg is not sufficient.
1 tablet (20 mg ebastine)once a day. One 10 mg tablet of ebastine once dailyis usually sufficient to control symptoms.
Thedose of 10 mg of ebastine per dayshould not be exceeded .In this case it is recommended to use the 10 mg form (Ebacin 10 mg film-coated tablets).
This medicine is taken orally. The tablets can be taken with or without food, with a glass of water. The slit is only used to break the tablet if you find it difficult to swallow it whole.
