What is Bactil?

Bactil is indicated to improve the symptoms of allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, such as sneezing, nasal itching, runny nose, congestion and red, watery, itchy and irritated eyes.

Who can take Bactil?

Bactil can be taken by adults and adolescents over 12 years of age to treat allergic symptoms. It is specifically indicated to relieve symptoms of allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, such as:

  • Sneezing
  • Nasal itching
  • Runny nose
  • Nasal congestion
  • Red, watery eyes
  • Hives with mild symptoms

How to take Bactil Ebastine 10 mg, 10 film-coated tablets

Bactil are film-coated tablets to be taken by mouth. Together with a glass of water. The dosage for adults and children over 12 years of age is one tablet a day.

Contraindications

Do not take Bactil if you are allergic to ebastine or any other component of this medicine.

Side effects

The following side effects have been observed in clinical trials and post-marketing experience:

Headache, drowsiness, dry mouth, hypersensitivity reactions: allergic reactions (such as anaphylaxis and angioedema), nervousness, insomnia.
dizziness, decreased sensation of touch or sensation, decreased or altered taste
