Reactine is a medicine designed to relieve the nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis, when accompanied by nasal congestion, by providing rapid decongestive action within 15 minutes.

Who can take it?

It is formulated for use in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over seeking relief from allergy symptoms.

When should Reactine be taken?

The recommended dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over is 1 tablet twice a day, morning and evening, with a maximum daily dose of 2 tablets.

How long does it take to take effect?

Within 15 minutes of application, Reactine relieves allergy symptoms, provided the allergy is seasonal, thanks to its antihistamine properties.

Who should not take it?

Reactine should not be taken by anyone who is allergic to pseudoephedrine, cetirizine, antihistamines, other nasal decongestants, or any of the other ingredients in this medicine. It should also not be used by patients with liver or kidney failure, those over 60 years of age and children under 12 years of age.

Composition of Reactine

The active ingredients in Reactine tablets include Letirizine/Pseudoephedrine 5mg/120mg, while the suspension eye drops contain Levocabastine 0.5 mg/ml.
