Antihistamine used for the relief of allergic rhinoconjunctivitis and urticaria.
Contains 14 tablets.
A medicine formulated with bilastine, an active substance used for its antihistamine action. It is therefore used to relieve allergic rhinoconjunctivitis (sneezing, itching, runny and stuffy nose, red and watery eyes) and urticaria with mild symptoms.
Suitable for use in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age.
The recommended dose is 1 tablet (20 mg) a day, taken orally with a glass of water. It should be taken one hour before or two hours after any food or fruit juice.
Do not use Abrilia Normon:
In children under 12 years of age.
In case of allergy to bilastine or to any of the ingredients of this medicine.
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, consult your doctor before using this medicine. Also consult your doctor if you have moderate or severe kidney failure, or if you are taking other medicines.
In case you experience symptoms such as difficulty breathing, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, dizziness, syncope, you should seek emergency assistance due to risk of anaphylaxis.
Like all medicines, this medicine may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Specifically, the side effects that may occur in adults and adolescents are:
Frequent: headache, drowsiness.
Infrequent: electrocardiogram abnormalities, blood tests showing changes in the way the liver works, dizziness, stomach pain, tiredness, increased appetite, irregular heartbeat, weight gain, nausea, anxiety, dry nose or nose discomfort, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, gastritis, dizziness, feeling of weakness, feeling of weakness, feeling of hunger, feeling of hunger, feeling of hunger, feeling of hunger, feeling of hunger, feeling of hunger, feeling of hunger, feeling of hunger, feeling of hunger, feeling of hunger, feeling of hunger, feeling of hunger, feeling of hunger, feeling of hunger, feeling of hunger, feeling of hunger.rtigo, feeling of weakness, thirst, dyspnoea, dry mouth, indigestion, itching, cold sores, fever, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), difficulty sleeping, blood tests showing changes in the way the kidneys work, increase in blood fats
Unknown frequency: palpitations, tachycardia, allergic reactions, vomiting.
Adverse effects that may occur in children:
Frequent: rhinitis (nasal irritation), allergic conjunctivitis (eye irritation), headache, stomach pain (abdominal/upper abdominal pain).
Rare: eye irritation, dizziness, loss of consciousness, diarrhoea, nausea (vomiting), swelling of the lips, eczema, urticaria (hives), fatigue.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before starting to use Abrilia 20 mg tablets if you have moderate or severe kidney failure and you are also taking other medicines (see "Use of Abrilia 20 mg tablets with other medicines").

This medicine contains less than 23 mg of sodium (1 mmol) per tablet, i.e. essentially "sodium-free".
Do not administer Abrilia Normon Bilastine:
Pregnancy, lactation and fertility
There are no or limited data on the use of bilastine in pregnant women, during lactation or on the effects on fertility. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or intend to become pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Consult your doctor if symptoms persist or worsen after 7 days of treatment.
