It is a medicine that combines paracetamol, pseudoephedrine and chlorphenamine to treat symptoms such as fever, nasal congestion and secretion and pain. Therefore, its use is indicated for the symptomatic relief of cold and flu-like processes.
It comes in a pack containing 10 granulated sachets.
Suitable for use in adults and adolescents over 14 years of age.
Take 1 sachet every 6-8 hours and no more than 4 sachets a day.
Do not use Vincigrip Forte Cacao in children under 14 years of age.
Consult your doctor about the use of this medicine if you are taking any other medicine for diseases such as epilepsy (lamotrigine, phenobarbital...), depression (barbiturate...), nausea, nausea and vomiting (nausea and vomiting).nausea and vomiting (metoclopramide), diuretics (furosemide), antihypertensives and drugs for heart rhythm disturbances (propanolol), depression, Parkinson's disease...
Pregnancy and lactation: this drug cannot be used during pregnancy and lactation.
Continued use of paracetamol in patients who regularly consume alcohol may cause liver damage.
Do not take this medicine with bitter orange juice as it may cause hypertensive crises.
This medicine contains sodium (special care in patients with hypertension) and mannitol (may cause laxative effect).
Like all medicines, Vincigrip Forte Cocoa flavour may cause side effects:
Frequent adverse reactions: malaise, hypotension, clumsiness of movement, tremor, tingling, dry mouth and gastrointestinal discomfort.
Very frequent adverse reactions: slight drowsiness, sweating, dizziness and muscle weakness.
The active ingredients of Vincigrip Forte Cacao are: paracetamol, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride and chlorphenamine maleate. Each sachet contains 650 mg paracetamol, 30 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride and 4 mg chlorphenamine maleate.
The other ingredients are: butylated hydroxyanisole (E-320), butylated hydroxytoluene (E-321), sorbic acid, povidone, polysorbate 80, polyethylene glycol 6000, sodium carboxymethyl starch (from sodium starch), sodium carboxymethyl starch (from sodium starch).sodium carboxymethyl starch (from potato starch), saccharin sodium, sodium cyclamate, cocoa lecithinate, chocolate flavouring, mannitol (E-421).
The granulated sachets have a pleasant chocolate flavour and should be dissolved in at least half a glass of water, stirring well before taking, and can be taken with or without food.
Do not take more than 4 sachets a day. If after 3 days of treatment the symptoms do not improve, seek medical advice.
