Ilvico Granules for Oral Solution

It is a medicine that combines paracetamol, brompheniramine and maletao brompheniramine, active ingredients that are used to relieve symptoms such as fever, congestion and runny nose. In addition, the effect of caffeine helps to counteract the discomfort caused by flu and colds.

It is therefore a medicine used for the treatment of cold and flu-like conditions.

It is intended for use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.

The recommended dosage varies according to the age of the patient:

• Adults: 1 sachet every 8 hours (if necessary, it could be taken every 6 hours).

• Adolescents from 12 to 18 years of age: 1 sachet every 8 hours.

• Do not use Ilvico Granulate in children under 12 years of age.

• Consult your doctor about taking this medicine if you are taking any other medicine for diseases such as epilepsy (lamotrigine, phenobarbital...), depression (barbiturate...), nausea and vomiting (nausea and vomiting).nausea and vomiting (metoclopramide), diuretics (furosemide), antihypertensives and drugs for heart rhythm disturbances (propanolol), depression, Parkinson's disease...

• Pregnancy and lactation: this drug cannot be used during pregnancy and lactation.

• Do not take with bitter orange or grapefruit juice.

• Do not drink alcoholic beverages using this medicine as it may cause liver damage.

• This medicine contains sodium cyclamate (source of sodium, so special care should be taken in patients with hypertension), sucrose (special care in patients with intolerance to certain sugars), sorbitol (a component of orange flavouring), saccharin sodium and yellow orange (may cause allergic reactions).

Like all medicines, Ilvico granules for oral solution may cause side effects:

• Very common side effects: drowsiness, headache, dry mouth, stomach pain, urinary retention...

The active ingredients of Ilvico granules are: paracetamol 300 mg, caffeine 30 mg and brompheniramine maleate 3 mg.

The other ingredients are: citric acid, orange yellow (E-110), orange flavouring, sodium cyclamate, macrogol, saccharin sodium, anhydrous colloidal silica, sucrose.

These sachets have a pleasant orange flavour and smell .

If after 3 days of treatment the symptoms do not improve, seek medical advice.
