Effervescent tablets for the relief of cold and flu symptoms. From 16 years of age.

It is a medicine that combines acetylsalicylic acid, phenylephrine and chlorphenamine to relieve symptoms such as fever, nasal congestion and discharge, and pain.
It is therefore a medicine used for the treatment of cold and flu-like conditions.
Adults and adolescents over 16 years of age.
Take 1 effervescent tablet every 8 hours. If the dose needs to be increased, it could be taken every 6 hours.
Do not use Couldina effervescent tablets in adolescents under 16 years of age.
Do not take this medicine if you suffer from haemophilia or blood clotting problems, if you suffer from asthma, tachycardia, if you suffer from high blood pressure, liver or kidney disease, if you suffer from hyperthyroidism, glaucoma or if you are taking medicines for depression or Parkinson's disease. This medicine is also contraindicated in diabetes.
The use of this medicine is contraindicated if you are drinking alcohol, because if you regularly drink alcohol, stomach bleeding may occur.
This medicine may cause drowsiness, which may impair driving ability.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: This medicine cannot be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
Like all medicines, Couldina may cause side effects:
Frequent: drowsiness, dizziness, muscle weakness, usually disappear after two or three days of treatment.
Very common: slurred speech, alterations in sensations and tingling, dry mouth and nose, loss of appetite...
The active ingredients in Couldina are: acetylsalicylic acid, chlorphenamine maleate, phenylephrine hydrochloride. Each tablet contains 500 mg acetylsalicylic acid, 2 mg chlorphenamine maleate and 7.5 mg phenylephrine hydrochloride.
The other ingredients are: citric acid anhydrous (E-330), sodium hydrogencarbonate (E-500ii), sodium carbonate anhydrous (E-500i), sodium citrate (E-331), mannitol (E-421), povidone K 30 (E-1201), glycine (E-640), docusate sodium and saccharin sodium (E-954ii).
Effervescent tablets should be dissolved in a little water, waiting for the bubbles to stop before drinking.
Do not exceed the maximum dose of 4 tablets per day.
Consult a doctor if there is no improvement after 3 days of treatment.
