Traditional herbal medicine for the relief of the common cold in adults and children from 6 years of age.

It is a medicine in the form of oral drops made from liquid extract of the root of Pelargonium sidoides DC, an active ingredient intended for the treatment of cold symptoms.
Intended to relieve colds in adults and children from 6 years of age.
Take Kaloba oral drops with liquid 3 times a day (morning, midday and evening). The exact dose of each dose varies according to the age of the patient:
- Adults, adolescents and children over 12 years of age: 30 drops.
- Children from 6 to 12 years of age: 20 drops.
Do not use KALOBA oral drops:
- In children under 6 years of age.
- In case of allergy or hypersensitivity to Pelargonium sidoides extract or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
- If you suffer from alcoholism or severe liver disease.
- If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, as there is insufficient data available.
Kaloba oral drops may cause side effects, as is the case with other medicines, but this does not mean that everyone will experience them. In this case, they are observed:
- Rare: nausea, stomach pain, heartburn, diarrhoea.
- Rare: slight bleeding from the nose or gums, allergic or hypersensitivity reactions.
- Very rare: serious hypersensitivity reactions, with difficulty breathing, pressure drop and swelling of the face.
- Unknown frequency: liver dysfunction.
Each 10 g of Kaloba contains 8 g of liquid extract of Pelargonium sidoides root as the main active ingredient, obtained with 11% ethanol (m/m) with a dry plant/extract ratio (1:8-10). The other excipients are: 12% ethanol (v/v) corresponding to 84 mg per ml of solution and 174 mg of glycerol.
This is a herbal drop medicine used for the common cold to relieve the symptoms.
It is a clear solution that should be taken with fluids in the morning, midday and evening, and is suitable for both adults and children over 6 years of age.
A healthy diet with adequate protein and vitamin intake is recommended.
